More than 50 artistes attended the award night. Total of 24 awards were presented, Namewee who was not able to be presence at the award night walked away with 4 awards including Best Album, Best Lyrics, Best Album Design, and Highest Streamed Single awards! Best Male Artiste awarded to Abin Fang who also won the Best Song for his single “The Fool”. Gin Lee who debuted for 10 years and has been active in Hong Kong for her music career for more than 9 years, defeated Fish Leong to won her very first Best Female Artiste.

For the Best New Artiste category, Shio, Evangeline Wang, and Daniel Chezi were honoured with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards respectively. The outstanding contribution award presented to New Southern Records Sdn Bhd, who has actively foster the classical Chinese music within local industry for 45 years. The AIM committee has also added another award – AIM Recommended Award and presented to Priscilla Abby for her outstanding performance and her exposure in Chinese EDM music.
